"Why does it sound like that? It's terrible."
I started Anthems of The Undesirable in 2007 after the record store I worked at (Relative Theory Records, in Norfolk VA) closed. It seemed like there was no longer a home for underground and DIY music and culture in the area, so I decided to start setting up a small distro at shows. That distro grew substantially over the next five years, to where Anthems has become the most prominent and largest of its sort in Hampton Roads. It is our goal to continue to introduce people of all ages to music that embraces what we perceive as punk rock culture in all of its forms, and to help foster the punk and DIY community in Hampton Roads in whatever ways we are able.
Punk, Metal, Hardcore, Noise, Vinyl, Cassettes, CDs, DVDs, and more.
